Samsonite luggage was quite expensive and he argued that the suitcases that we own had served us well for years and there was absolutely no need to go to the added expense of buying new ones, particularly when the holiday itself had cost a small fortune. You know how it is, sometimes the smallest of things can cause the hugest of rows and so it was with this issue. We ended up having the most almighty shouting match about it and have not spoken all day to day. Although I am absolutely furious at the stance my husband has taken, I know that when he calms down he will see the logic of my argument and allow me to buy some new luggage. I just have to bide my time.
